I really love the schedule that college provides. For example, even though I have a full semester of classes, each week I only have class from Monday to Thursday. That means that not only do I get a three day weekend every single week, but on week’s when there is a holiday on Monday, I get a full four day weekend! I’m not saying that every aspect of college is easy (I definitely spend a lot of time studying for my harder classes), but I am saying that it’s pretty awesome to have that kind of schedule.
The four day weekend scenario was the exact situation that I found myself in quite recently (as a result of President’s Day). When I have a four day weekend, I always try to take some kind of trip, and this time was no exception. I decided that I wanted to go to Salt Lake City for my long weekend, and while that may seem like a random choice, the reason I wanted to go there was to spend time with my Mom. She always loves when I come visit her, and because we get along so well, we legitimately have a good time with each other in Salt Lake City.
