I always enjoy Christmas, and this year was definitely no exception. Each year, my wife and I head up to Salt Lake City to be with our families. The great thing about this situation is that my wife and I are both originally from Salt Lake City, so we are able to spend Christmas Eve with her family, and then spend Christmas Day with my family. This arrangement works out really well, because then neither of our families feel like we are neglecting them for the other family.
Since we do hold Christmas celebrations with both families, when we arrive at the Salt Lake City airport, we are always sure to get a rental car to use for transportation. For a long time, I would wait until we arrived in Salt Lake City, but thanks to the Internet, it’s now really easy for me to make my travel arrangements ahead of time. It’s nice to already have a rental car reserved when we arrive in Salt Lake City, because then we are able to pick it up right away and head off to start the multiple Christmas celebrations.
