Salt Lake City, Utah is easily on of the most gorgeous place in the entire United States and also one of the best places to take a vacation. Salt Lake City has it all, from tons of some of the best ski resorts in the world to some of the finest dining you’ll ever experience. If you are going to soak in even a fraction of the wonders that Salt Lake City has to offer, you are going to need to be mobile, and the best way to get around town is to rent a car.
I have been to Salt Lake City numerous times for everything from business conferances to ski trips and for the first couple trips I relied on public transportation and cab rides to get around. After getting back from the trips I would look at my bank statement and frown at the amount of money that I had spent of getting around.

Don’t go with on of the big national brands, the local will consistantly undercut the big guys on pretty much everything, and you will be doing your part to support the local businesses in this wonderful area.
