Just over three months ago, I took a trip to Salt Lake City with my wife. Although this may come as a surprise, the trip was actually a gift from her parents (in case you are wondering, I have a really good relationship with her parents). My wife and I’s birthdays are less than a month apart, so the trip was given to us as a dual birthday present. Not only did they give us a five day trip to Salt Lake City, but they also said that they were going to take care of our kids while we were gone. As anyone with kids knows, one of the most difficult things about trying to take a trip with just your spouse is trying to find someone who you trust to watch your kids while you are gone.
I have to say that our trip to Salt Lake City was absolutely wonderful. We filled all five days of our trip with lots of activities and experiences. From visiting the Olympic Park to eating at some amazing restaurants, my wife and I couldn’t have been happier during our time in Salt Lake City.
